Kutusoma is a beacon of empowerment—a flame that lights the paths of identity, history, and creativity of Black people. Our story is a river flowing with the waters of resistance, innovation, and resilience. In a world that has often tried to silence our voices and erase our achievements, Kutusoma stands as a force of celebration and renewal, inviting us to read and recognize ourselves.

Our Mission

Kutusoma, as a space made up primarily of Black people—mostly women and gender-diverse people—is a project that cannot be detached from the lived realities of its community. Instead, it seeks to contribute to the building of a dignified life for Black people, grounded in peace, dignity, and the strengthening of our identity.

Our Vision

To become a leading reference for Afro-descendant narratives in Latin America, with the ability to positively impact the lives of thousands of young people—helping them strengthen their identity and find, through storytelling, a pathway to building a dignified life plan.

We have a strong, Spanish-speaking international team based in Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Panama, Mexico, and Argentina.
